BLAST FROM THE PAST LULZ

Wait, wasn't this episode made like, 100 years ago? I remember seeing it ages ago. Was it on the website before now? Because I swear I've watched all episodes upto about 10 (Maybe onward, I'll have to check the website to jog my memory).

Anyway, I just wanted to say what a fucking great job this is for you (And any help you have such as artists / actors / writers). When I make flash animations myself (Not often; doubly so for any I submit) I always try to see how close to the standard of Munushi I can get. There's just a great bloody set of atmosphere and style that's so rare in most other flash animations, or even entire series of animations.

The scene I remember most vividly was where the two characters were running across a bridge, with some goons chasing them. It just had such a great feeling, like something from a TV show. It was so wonderfully gritty.

Eh, suppose you've heard this all before. I'd just like to say, thanks for making such a fucking awesome series. It really does make me happy when I can see such brilliance as this.

Daring to plummet into cliche;

Keep up the good work.

Minushi responds:

Thanks Kritz, and to all the other NG users who have commented on Minushi (for better or worse) over the years. Yup, "years."

I read all the emails I receive and all the comments here at NG or anywhere else I can find for that matter even if I don't have time to reply to them directly. After all, this open communication between us is at the heart of Minushi and I appreciate that you all take the time to write.

As I'm trying to mention as often as possible - especially to veteran fans of the movie - Minushi lives! At this point we're in the midst of talking to distributors about finally getting Minushi out there on DVD; so hang in there! It's been a long journey and I'm glad to have you all along for the ride.

Thanks.

AWESOME!

Dude, how in the shit did you get THAT FAR in the game? That's gotta be about 5 of the 8 levels completed by the time you died. Because I was stuck on the Mario / Duck Hunt menu for a solid 2 weeks before I read an Internet guide on how to complete it!

Man, you guys are the most skilled gamers out there. Maybe you could give me some tips on Tic Tac Toe? I'm stuck on the last level and I want to see how the plot turns out! Hope it's not a cliff hanger like PacMan was!

Thanks for the help,

No prob Kritz! We have heard that the computer interweb is a great place for tips and trick on your favourite titles. Unfortunately, out dial-up telnet connection is a little unreliable. Dad says he is upgrading the tape drive on our commodor soon. It's gonna be awesome!

Uhh...

I'm kinda lazy to give a good review, but..

Preview your movie before submitting. You didn't size it right.

Steven-M responds:

Fixed the resolution. Thanks for noting it.

Pretty crap,

But the end joke was enough for me to give it a 2.

I'm sure if you voiced it, reanimated it and changed the script (exeption with the end joke), it could actully be a good flash.

If this gets blamed, try it again with more effort.

the key to good humour is the pause.

You bastard.

Why must it stop?! WHY? YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!

._. It was so good... then you're all like:

I'll give you more funny sometime soon hopefully. And I'll try to make it longer next time.

T'was ok,

The character graphics themselfs were better then average. But the playing feild was a bit too... plain. Never plaing "Worms" myself, I'm not sure if that's what they actully look like.

The sound was nice and clear, though it would be nice using a bit more variaty between the men. (Why did the Elite's have an Australian accent, anyway?)

Jack-Mace responds:

i will.. and the Elite voice's - monster sounds - i dont have those yet!

Woot for Halo!

Damn, not only great quick jokes and an awsome pre-loader game but added easter eggs!

Eggs found:

Sand Castle numbers
The enter your name screen
(Possibly) summin writin on Keye's cap
Flashin' 'hog

But honestly... "I don't get it." [inseart awsome theme song here] was the best bit.

Woot for you guys, Bungie and Halo!

flash-hounds responds:

on Captain keyes it says "Wig"

Good, but..

Unless the portal has been spammed, This isn't really front page stuff.

The joke was good, The sounds were great but its overall graphics wrecked it for me.

The lipsync was next to perfect, but the tweening was so horrible.

Get an artist, because your other matirial is great.

Woot for Frankie!

That was really good. Gotta love Frankie for the drawings. (He did come up with 'em, didn't he?)

I almost wasn't going to watch it because of the "Mister". The size too.

Oh well...

thanks ?!

God damn you!!!11one1

Dude, I was doing the exact same flash for my first. Ok, so I didn't get much of it done... but I did make a startup where santa was dualing mac 11's while running through the workshop.

Bah. I should of worked faster. Oh well, wouldn't off been as good anyway. But if you get the front page, I'm not gonna be happy.

Ahh who cares. Great minds think alike? Must be the acception to the rule.

redhammer01 responds:

Why dont you finish it. This isnt the first of its type either. There are at least 2 other night santa went crazy flashes in NG. Maybe you can get it done on time. Good luck if you try and finish it
